At 95 kg (210 lbs.) I need a stiff frame. Still, thanks to
the light frame and parts my bike weighs only a swift 7.2 kg (15.8 lbs.).
The frame is simply fantastic uphill and on long rides. I only notice the
suspension when I switch to my old bike. Just look at it – doesn’t
it make you drool, too?

Richard
Rogge
… has been competing in triathlons since 1985. The 1999 German national
champion (35+) is a five-time participant in the IRONMAN Hawaii where the picture
was taken.
"The TOTAL ECLIPSE is extremely aerodynamic and light. It is ideal for long,
hard events. I also like it for its stiff bottom bracket. I ride the bike both
in short and long events."
Aside from competing regularly in IRONMAN events, Rogge also
rides for Team EBM Hohenlohe in German first division triathlons (1. Bundesliga). |

As a test rider I had the chance to ride the bike many thousands of kilometers – now I have bought a personal one. As shown my bike weighs 19.69 lbs, despite its heavy wheelset (more than 4.4 lbs.) and the aero bars. |
