The Disc DT wheel is our proven classic. It combines a very low weight of only 850 g (1.87 lbs) with excellent stiffness.
Our disc wheels are available as front or rear wheels both in 28 inch (700 c) and 26 inch (650 c) sizes. Rear wheels are compatible with either Campagnolo 9/10-speed or Shimano 9/10-speed cassettes. The freehub body can easily be exchanged to allow the switch from one standard to the other later on.

Disc wheels are at home in time trials, in triathlons and in track racing where they shine with excellent aerodynamics. Disc wheels are your bet when fighting the wind alone. Due to their higher weight, other manufacturers’ conventional disc wheels are restricted to flat courses with few turns. Uphill stretches or courses requiring lots of acceleration after sharp turns meant that what was gained by good aerodynamics was lost again due to higher weight and bad acceleration – not so with Lightweight discs!
Low weight means wider range of use
Lightweight disc wheels are great on hillier courses or even in mountainous terrain: The test crew at TOUR-magazine, Europe’s largest cycling publication, agrees: When they put together the ideal bike for a TdF mountain time trial they chose a Lightweight disk wheel in the back (and one of our spoked wheels up front).
Top choice for triathletes as well
We wholeheartedly recommend our disc wheel for triathletes: Triathlon events are rarely held on flat courses, instead they come with hills, mountains, descents and tight inner-city sections. This is where Lightweight discs shine! On courses where you used to forego a disc wheel due to its higher weight, you can now enjoy our discs’ superior aerodynamics without regret.
